Henri
Ibanez
"In
the network of this graphic, Ibanez places in panels (colour piano
keys, as you prefer!) his coloured surfaces and the rhythm sing
more
strongly in the accent of colours. Those colours are blues and reds;
blue is always leading, intense, extremely blue, while the red,
except
in some of the paintings, seems as if it reinforces the dominant/leading
colour. Between those trembling tints, Ibanez places the lightest
colours, always arranged following the same system of panels in
quite
stretched boxes, with green, yellow, grey and moulded tints which
oppose pure colours.
Who
could still deny the psycho sensorial equivalent of colours and
coloured
form?"
