Jim Wrinkle is not a forgotten artist. He, perhaps because he is so unassuming, has never been discovered. He has been making interesting paintings of high quality month in and month out for some thirty years. He has had few shows and few sales. Only his love of painting has sustained him. In a time when an artist's worth and "success" are judged and determined by his visibility in the market place and his adherence to trendiness, Wrinkle has achieved true success where it belongs: in his paintings.
