waiting for the fog to thin out -
this is not a pretty image, but there's information in it
this was a beautiful day - where the fog keeps just forming in mid-air above you - for everything but burning bamboo
i'd read and pick up the lens when there was enough sun to do the trick -
this was one of those you can't do it and take a picture of it at the same time deals - the camera shadowed the work and by the time you got set up the sun was gone again
what did work out though is the bamboo reflected in the lens that the workpiece came from
