Simply Abstract. Lyrical and complete. A circle is a circle. It has been used widely by several abstract artists over the years, including Jasper Johns, Youngerman, to name a few. It takes the viewer into a non-objective dimension where only non-duality exists. Opposites collide as the painting appears to be shifting background and foreground within the circle. This ambiguity and contrast is my mission. My inspiration is from Pollock, Johns, and other abstract expressionists. Antonio Puri |
